We know that when it comes to your kids, you want someone who will treat the search process — and your children — just as you would. At Nannies by Sarah, that’s the standard to which we hold ourselves with every family match we make.
SAFETY FIRST
Your child’s safety and well-being is our number one priority. We take the necessary steps to ensure that the nanny working in your home is qualified and appropriate. We do a background check, vetting all nannies for any criminal and sexual offenses, in addition to checking driving records and verifying work eligibility in the United States. And of course, we check two or more employer references. We only place caregivers who communicate well in English and have a minimum of 3 years experience in childcare. Plus, we build a trial day and training period into our process so that you can observe the nanny in action to make sure the decision to hire is right.
THE RIGHT FIT
Nannies by Sarah prioritizes loving attention, because in addition to a secure environment, our kids deserve an engaged and doting caregiver. We look for nannies who are caring, energetic, and helpful.
All of our nannies have agreed in advance to do light housework, including laundry, dishes, and anything else related to your child. Because the last thing you need is someone who creates more work for you.
And we ask about your specific needs and preferences, so we can find someone who meets the mark. Whether your family has twins, hectic schedules, or specific health requirements, we’ll find a nanny who fits.
YOUR PARTNER
We are your partner in the nanny search process. Ultimately, the decision whether a nanny is the right fit is up to you. We give you the information collected, a trial day and grace period at a low cost so that you can make an informed choice.
Transparency. We give you copies of all the background research so that you can review the extensive notes we make throughout the process. Plus, we share candidate reference information so that you also can call previous employers.
Satisfaction. We want you to be happy with your match. We coordinate a trial day for the nanny, and we have a grace period during which you can request a change. We will find you someone new at no additional charge. We’re always recruiting, so we have a large pool of nannies to choose from.
Affordability. Last but not least, we believe that quality child care should be affordable! We charge a fraction of what the big agencies do, and our pricing doesn’t fluctuate with the caregiver you choose.
