Our Story

When I was a new mom trying to find a nanny, I was completely overwhelmed, and none of the resources available to me felt right.

I didn’t want to spend an “arm and a leg”, so to speak, on an expensive, corporate-feeling agency, but I didn’t have the time or energy to sort through some of the online platforms either.

There had to be a better way for parents to find loving, responsible nannies for families like mine! 

With no other choice, I rolled up my sleeves, created a plan, did my research and worked my way through. I ended up finding a nanny that I absolutely adored — and just as important, my kids loved too. 

My process worked so well, I started to help my friends with their searches, and I quickly learned that even though everyone has the same basic needs — loving, caring, responsible nannies — no two families are exactly alike.

After several years of providing successful nanny-family matches to friends, their friends started asking for help too. I realized then that I could help countless families, and thus my new “baby,” Nannies by Sarah, was born. 

With each family we serve, it feels as if we’re expanding our own. It’s such a great feeling to help parents with this important task at such a pivotal time in their lives, and I am grateful every day to be doing it.
